First it was Ram Gopal Verma with his Sarkar Raj, which will see the husband wife duo of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan come together on screen for the first time after their marriage. Then there is Mani Ratnam's next being planned with the two in mind.
However, it seems that there is yet another film being planned with the two in the lead. The director in question is believed to be none other than Rajiv Menon, who had directed Ash in the film Kandukondain based on Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility, decades ago. Apparently he will now direct Ash and her hubby in a romantic story, the music of which is expected to be composed by A.R. Rahman. The film's shooting, however, will only begin next year as Ash has a busy schedule ahead of her. She has to finish work on Ratnam's film and also shoot for Robot, director Shankar's film opposite Rajnikant. It is believed that Menon had narrated his story idea to the couple during the shoot of Guru and they had liked it a lot. Hence they had no qualms about signing on the dotted liner once the script was ready.
