Pyramid Saimira has acquired the distribution rights of superstar Rajnikanth's 'Kuselan'. The distribution rights were sold for Rs.64 Cr to Pyramid Saimira.
Pyramid Saimira, Adlabs, and Ayngaran films were in the fray to procure the rights. Pyramid Saimira acquired it for a whooping Rs.64 Cr. It has obtained the combined rights for Tamil and Telugu versions.
'Kuselan' is a remake of the Malayalam movie ‘Katha Parayumbol’. It is also being made in Telugu as 'Kucheludu'. `Kuselan’ also stars Pasupathy, Meena, Prabhu, Vadivelu, Santhanam and Livingston.
