Vidya Balan Next Movie 'Hara'

Vidya Balan has openly expressed her fondness to work with super star Rajinikanth. She was reacting to some media reports claiming that she has been offered a role in Rajini’s new flick ‘Hara’. Vidya says she has still not been officially approached to play a role in ‘Hara’.

But she says she will immediately accept if an offer to work with Rajinikanth comes her way. If she is destined to work in Kollywood films nothing can be bigger than a Rajini film, Vidya feels.

After the news started travelling, Vidya says even her parents have become keen to see her along with the super star. ‘Hara’ is the new and improved version of ‘Sultan the Warrior’. The animation flick is now taken over by KS Ravikumar, who will transform it as a live-cum-animation film with all available materials.

Vidya Balan is looking forward to playing a grown up Mini in the film.

Kabuliwallah is one of the most widely known short stories by nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore; an endearing tale of friendship between a trader from Afghanistan who sells goods door to door in India, and a small Indian girl named Mini.

Vidya is also happy she will get another opportunity to act with her Paa co-star Amitabh Bachchan.

There was a report last month that Balan will feature in ABCL's next venture. It is not clear yet if the film in question is Kabuliwallah.

Neha Duphia upcoming film Phas Gaye Re Obama

Bollywood actors Rajat Kapoor and Neha Dhupia promoted their upcoming film ‘Phas Gaye Re Obama’ in Mumbai. Written and directed by Subash Kapoor, the film is a satire on recession and US President Barack Obama’s policies.

“It’s a very dear project to all of us and I can assure you one thing that as a writer of this film, it is an out an out fun film, it’s an out and out comedy and it’s a complete entertainer. ‘Phas Gaye Re Obama’ is a film with recession as the backdrop. It’s about a guy who looses everything overnight to the recession in America and comes to India,” said Subhash Kapoor.

Anil Kapoor in ‘Mission impossible 4′

Anil Kapoor has signed to essay an important role in one of the biggest film series of Hollywood, ‘Mission Impossible’.

Anil landed in multiple Oscar winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ following which he got a major role in ’24′, one of the most watched television series in the US. He will now be seen in ‘Mission Impossible 4′ alongside Hollywood’s top actors Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg.

‘At this point I can only say that I have been contacted for ‘Mission impossible 4′ and I have said yes for the role,’ Anil said in a statement.

Aishwarya Rai in Guzaarish Udi Song Promo

Guzaarish is an upcoming film being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai will be seen in lead roles.

The movie will revolve around the story of a married nurse (Aishwarya Rai) and a quadriplegic, wheelchair-using patient Ethan (Hrithik Roshan), suffering from impairments of the motor and sensory functions of his limbs, with whom she develops an intimate bond.

Aishwarya has apparently smoked for the first time in her life and career in this film. Recalling the scene, Ash said with a smirk,

“You saw what happened to me when I attempted smoking. It’s for all to see. I coughed and almost had tears in my eyes.”
Hrithik on the contrary revealed that he took to smoking especially for this film…to get into the skin of his character.

I dislike being called Ash-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the stunningly beautiful daughter –in- law of Big B, walked the ramp for acclaimed fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s couture show at HDIL India Couture Week, but felt upset at being addressed by nickname ‘Ash.’

In fact, Aishwarya has been trying for years to get rid of this name but unfortunately could not succeed for one or another reason. After marriage even Abhishek Bachchan, her hubby, was not very fond of the nickname and was heard telling a section of media to stop using it.

Aishwarya was obviously overwhelmed with the support that she received from hubby in the matter and was seen gushing about it. As far as her walking the ramp for Manish Malhotra is concerned, the lady made it clear that it was long due and this time everything fell into place and it happened.

But that was only for Manish Malhotra and not for even Karan Johar, who had also asked Aishwarya to walk the ramp for him during the HDIL event. When asked if she would like to walk the ramp for Salman Khan’s charity ‘Being Human’, which is also scheduled in a day or two, Aishwarya’s reply was evasive that she would be out of town for some time now.

Mallika Sherawat made news when she was photographed in a burka while travelling outdoors to disguise herself so crowds don't prohibit the bombshell from getting from place to place on time... and now the sexy snake woman has taken her burka antics one step further in her forthcoming film HISSS - Mallika AS A SNAKE in a burka!

Sources claim there are a number of action-chase scenes in the film in which Mallika dons the attire, and that the idea was thought up by director Jennifer Lynch and integrated in to her script as an "inside joke" for those familiar with Mallika's burka lore. The anticipated film HISSS starring Sherawat and Irrfan Khan opens worldwide October 22nd after a lengthy and FX-heavy post-production in Hollywood.
