May 4, 2008 () - Yash Raj Films (YRF) Tashan was released in all multiplexes Saturday, May 3, following a settlement that covers the screening of all YRF films for one year.
The film was released on April 25 in theatres other than multiplexes and met with a tepid response.
Other YRF films covered by the agreement include Kunal Kohli's Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic on June 27th, Siddharth Anand's Bachna Ae Haseeno on August 15th, Jugal Hansraj's Roadside Romeo on October 24th, and culminates in Aditya Chopra's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi on December 12th.
