Madhavan in Place of Arshad Warsi

Arshad Warsi's sudden walkout from the film Teen Patti, being produced by Ambika Hinduja and directed by Leena Yadav had left all a little taken aback by the actor's unprofessional behaviour.

It will be remembered that Arshad had announced his exit from the film by not reporting to shoot on the first day of the schedule. There was apparently no message from him as well. Of course, the actor later went to press and said that Teen Patti was clashing heavily with his plans of making a film. One had also heard that he had been offered the lead role in Vishal Bharadwaj's next. One is not sure of what to believe, as there is another rumour that the actor was not keen to act opposite Amitabh Bachchan as he felt that the senior actor's inputs were cutting into his screen time. Now it seems that the makers of the film have approached Madhavan for the role. The actor is believed to have asked for a full narration. Also, he has asked the makers to promise that his role in the film won't be cut into shreds at the editing table.
