Vidya Balan arrived at China Village, the Chinese cuisine restaurant at the Hyatt Regency in New Delhi to unveil the cover of Hi! LIVING. Vidya, who features on the cover, was bright and cheery throughout the afternoon. Hi! LIVING editor Shalini Sharma was delighted that her magazine had the opportunity to shoot Vidya in Kerala, her hometown. Photographer Joy Datta’s lens captured Vidya’s magic unfold in the pristine environs of Kerala: the results are for all to see in this ‘must have’ April 2010 issue of Hi! LIVING.
Hi! LIVING had the opportunity to do a cover shoot with versatile Bollywood actress Vidya Balan. We planned this shoot amidst the calm backwaters and lush environs of Kerala, which also happens to be Vidya’s home land. The cover story celebrates the classic Indian beauty, brilliantly exemplified by Vidya Balan. Shot in the idyllic locations of Zuri Kumarakom resort and spa by photographer Joy Datta, Vidya was stylized in luxurious Indian ethnic designs of Sabyasachi, Tarun Tahiliani, Nikasha Tawdey, Varun Bahl, Anamika Khanna, jewellery was courtesy PC Jewellers, New Delhi.
