Ritesh to star in Dostana Sequel

Ritesh Deshmukh will be playing a gay in the sequel of Dostana. The talented actor is not replacing Abhishek Bachchan or John Abraham in the film. In fact, he will be paired-opposite another male-actor which makes it two gay couples in Dostana 2.

Karan Johar will start shooting the sequel to Dostana, a light-hearted tale about three friends, this summer with final star cast Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham once again in the lead. Katrina Kaif has replaced Priyanka Chopra who was heard to be very disappointed on hearing the news.

As far as Ritesh is concerned, its’ a double celebration for him for once his dream has definitely come true and of course, he is going to work with his idol’s Shahrukh Khan’s close friend.

On one hand, where (almost) every single brand is trying to enhance its image by appointing Brand Ambassadors dime a dozen, even the Bollywood actors are also having a field day, under the sun!

Genelia has been succesful to fill many endorsements in her kitty.Fanta, Perk, Garnier,
Spinz, LG Mobiles, Virgin Mobiles, Fastrack Watches, Dabur hair oil to name a few.Till date Rani Mukerjee was endorsing Margo Soaps, one of the popular soaps. But Rani Mukerjee is repalced by Genelia as brand ambassador for Margo Soaps.

Asin to star opposite John Abraham

The London Dreams girl Asin is reported to be the heroine opposite John Abraham in the Hindi remake of master filmmaker Gautham Menon’s super hit cop story Khakha Khakha (Tamil), starring Suriya and his actress-wife Jyotika.

The shooting of this untitled Hindi remake is all set to begin in May under the direction of Nishikant Kamath. The original director Gautam Menon was originally expected to direct the Hindi version, but he stepped out of the project for some reasons.

“Although Genelia was considered for the remake, they dropped the idea as John had already worked with Genelia in Hook Ya Crook and they wanted a fresh pairing. Asin has already worked with Vipul Shah in London Dreams so they decided to sign her. The film is important for John at this stage of his career as his last three films Ashayein, Hook ya Crook and Abbas Tyrewala’s next film have been put on hold for various reasons,” a source close to the makers was quoted as saying.
