Haddipa is the title Yash Raj Films was keen on for its upcoming film starring Rani Mukerji and Shahid Kapur set against the backdrop of cricket. But unfortunately they have not been able to get the title as its rights are with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Sanjay’s sister Bela Saigal had planned a movie with the same name and Sanjay refuses to part with the title even though the film is yet to go on floors.
Even after Yash Raj’s repeated attempts to convince Sanjay, he did give them the title. So it’s been said that Yash Raj Films was left with no choice but to change its movie’s title to “Dil Bole Haddipa”
However, sources from YRF say the film is still untitled and that the title will be announced soon
