After dizzness, Vidya Balan was admitted to the Lilavati hospital and diagnosed with hemoglobin (red) on bass. He was discharged from the hospital, however, recommended complete bed rest for a week.

Looks a bit like the actress has worked hard for Milan Luthria of "the" dirty image which plays the role of Silk Smitha.

After several trials, was the news of her low hemoglobin confirmed. A source in Lilavati Hospital confirmed the hospitalization of Vidya Balan. "Vidya was admitted to Lilavati. Her results showed she had a low number of red blood cells and was treated for her,"

Salman khan as 'Sher khan' in brother Sohail movie

After the movie Bodyguard, actor Salman Khan is gearing up for his next project Sher Khan with his brother Sohail. The Bollywood star, who is currently working on Ek Tha Tiger, is reportedly pairing up with swimsuit calendar model Angela Jonsson in the movie, which goes on floors in January 2012.

It is reported that Salman Khan wanted to rope in either his ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif or a completely new female lead for Sher Khan. Since he will be working with Katrina for the next six months for Ek Tha Tiger, he reportedly thought that it would be more practical to have new face Angela Jonsson for his next film.

However, Angela Jonsson will play an athletic character in the movie Sher Khan. Sources claim that the model will have to undergo rigorous training in martial arts and action skills to get into her role. Director Sohail Khan, who is currently finalising locations to shoot the film, has reportedly roped in special international trainers to get the debutante actress ready for her role.

Katrina Kaif is set to don a new avatar in her upcoming flick Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

Dressed as a bride, sitting on a horse and dancing her heart out, the actress was spotted by Headlines Today in the historical town of Uttar Pradesh as she was shooting for the Yash Raj Films' production. A major portion of the film is being shot in Agra.

Even though she was dressed as a bride, she preferred a ghodi (mare) over a doli (traditional carriage used to carry bride on shoulders) with her groom standing by her side.

Apparently, keeping up with her image in the movie, Katrina beat up a boy black and blue, though just for the cameras.

Along with Katrina, co-actors Imran Khan and Ali Zafar were also present during the shoot. Probably they were shooting the climax scene of the film where they were getting married in front of the Taj Mahal.

Akshay Kumar Sonam Kapoor Pair up

This is gonna be 2011′s most HIT jodi. Sonam Kapoor and Akshay Kumar are coming together in director Anees Bazmee’s film, Thank You.

The film is a romantic comedy having most of its scenes being shot in Canada. This will be Sonam’s first comedy flick. It also features Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, Irfan Khan, Celina Jaitley & Rimi Sen, with many stars including Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sunil Shetty and Celina Jaitley. Anees has previously given hit comedies like Welcome and No Entry.

Sonam Kapoor unveiled these pictures on her site and also on Twitter. It is a very fresh pair and we are sure that the duo will bring out a smashing chemistry on screen.

It was bound to happen sooner or later. Katrina Kaif, who is being given the credit for pulling off Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan to whatever degree the film worked and is currently seen as being as solid as a hero at the box office, is being considered for a double role in a forthcoming film.

A trade guru says, "This is an age-old Bollywood tradition. When Hema Malini was at her peak Ramesh Sippy made Seeta Aur Geeta with her. Likewise when Sridevi was riding a crest of popularity, Pankuj Parasher made Chaalbaaz with her. Now, since Kat is the golden girl of Bollywood, a film corporation that has bought the rights for Seeta Aur Geeta is wanting to make a new version of this film with Katrina."

Kat refuses to comment on the subject. But our sources tell us, "The plan to make a film that has Katrina in a double role is definitely on. There is speculation that Dibakar Banerjee (Khosla Ka Ghosla, Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, Love Sex Aur Dhoka) may be asked to direct it. A couple of other high-profile director names are also being floated. However, nothing is final yet. They also need two leading men for the film. At best, this project can be described as a work-in-progress." Perhaps, that's why Kat is silent.

Katrina Kaif to perform Kiss scence on Screen

Bollywood beauty and Google's most searched diva is all set to make her onscreen smooch debut with Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan. Katrina Kaif has been working in the movie/entertainment industry for over 6 years now and finally her fans are going to see her do something different.

Director Zoya Akhtar has shot the two-minute steaming kissing scene, which is being touted as the longest lip lock in Bollywood so far. This will take place in Katrina Kaif’s new movie, “Zindagi Milegi Dobara”. Both stars will appear opposite to each other for the first time in a movie.

The director is reluctant to reveal details on the kiss scene and stated that the audience will have to simply wait to see it.

The movie is currently being shot in Spain and is due to complete by the mid of this year.

Vidya Balan plays Silk Smitha next ‘The Dirty Picture’

Vidya Balan, the classic Indian beauty who wowed the audiences with her sensual performances in flicks like 'Ishqia' and 'Parineeta', is all set to play the role of south Indian sexy siren Silk Smitha in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming flick 'The Dirty Picture' to be made under the banner of Balaji Telefilms.

The script of the flick has been finalized by Ekta Kapoor and it will be directed by Milan Luthra. However, the film will concentrate on the lonely life of Silk Smitha as an actress and a dancer rather than on her controversial but isolated private life. Ekta chose Vidya Balan for the role as she belonged to South India and could understand the prevailing sensitivities in a better way than any other actress.

However, the gutsy actress is yet to sign on the dotted lines to act in the flick, which will be a biopic on the controversial sex goddess of south Indian films. Silk Smitha was undisputed queen of the southern cinema and enjoyed unparalleled popularity during her heydays.

If Vidya Balan agrees to play the character of Silk Smitha in 'The Dirty Picture', this will be second memorable character for her after enacting the role of Amitabh Bachchan's mother in R Balki's 'Paa'. Vidya Balan had even won awards for her depiction of the role of Big B who was senior enough to be her father but played the part of 'Auro', her ailing son in the picture.

Abhishek Katrina Fresh Bollywood Pair

Now Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif are about to reunite as an on-screen pair in almost three films.

They have signed Tarun Mansukhani’s 'Dostana 2' which would be followed by Rajkumar Santoshi’s comedy and Vipul Shah’s next.

After ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani,' Santoshi is back with yet another comedy film starring Abhishek and Katrina in the lead.

Santoshi says, “I am really looking forward to directing him [Abhishek] for the first time. There's a very mischievous side to his personality, which has not been tapped in any film. When I wrote this script I thought of him immediately."

Again Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham will play lead characters in the gay-comedy ‘Dostana 2.’ Katrina Kaif has also been signed in to play the love interest of the two characters in the film.

Produced by Karan Johar, ’Dostan 2’ might release in the second half of this year.

Katrina eager to work with Junior B
Earlier gossip columns were abuzz with rumors that Katrina had refused to act opposite Abhishek in Abbas-Mustan’s official remake of ‘Italian Job’ and had left the project citing date problems.

But now after signing consecutive films with Abhishek, Katrina has put all rumors to rest about her being reluctant to work with Junior B.

Katrina says, "I had done one of my earliest films (Sarkar) with Abhishek. And it was great fun. Somehow subsequent projects didn't work out.”

She feels that she hardly knows Abhishek as both were complete different persons when they had first shared their screen space in ‘Sarkar’.

Katrina says, “Now that we’ll be doing so much work together I guess the process of getting to know one another will happen automatically.”

Katrina gets set to play a woman robed in ochre and in search of spirituality in the Prakash Jha film.

After opting out of Prakash Jha's Aarakshan, Katrina Kaif plays the central character in Satsang, the director's upcoming film exposing the multi-billion global religion factory in India.

After a critically acclaimed performance in Raajneeti, Katrina seems dead serious about getting into serious non-glamorous roles.

However, her role in Satsang is so complex that even Jha was not sure, initially, if the actress could deliver.

"It would be the most challenging part of my career so far," says Katrina, who played a pivotal character in the director's Raajneeti. In Satsang, she doesn't just play the central character, but also a semi-autobiographical character. The character of a woman from the West in search of Oriental spiritualism is modelled on a real-life character.

This will be a startling departure from her glamorous image .The decision to do Satsang came after much brainstorming between the actress
and director.

Even before Raajneeti, Jha was sure that Kat was perfect for the part in Satsang in terms of physical appearance.

He realised she could deliver the strength required by the central character in Satsang while shooting for the political thriller.

In Satsang, Kat will don ochre robes and will appear without makeup. She would also have to get informed on the intricacies of the multi-billion religious industry in India."

Katrina's up to the task. She says, confidently, "Prakashji and I have discussed the part in detail. This is one film that I've do the most preparation for. I'm open to the challenge."

Sonakshi Sinha Joins Race2

Model Sonakshi Sinha has reportedly joined the cast of the Abbas-Mustan directed Race 2.

Sinha joins an all star cast including Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.

Though critical reception to 2008 crime thriller Race was mixed, the film went on to gross around £10million worldwide, making it the fourth biggest Bollywood earner of that year.

Sinha made her acting debut this year opposite Salman Khan in Dabbang. The actress will work with Khan again in Shirish Kunder’s remake of the Tamil film Kick.

Deepika and katrina kaif together again

By now we all are aware of the rivalry between Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif after Ranbir Kapoor felt a soft corner for Katrina. But hold on! Nothing is certain in tinsel town. The latest we hear is that the duo has patched up.

The latest that we hear is Deepika will be seen along with Katrina in the sequel of Housefull Housefull 2. If buzz is to be believed, actors like Katrina Kaif, Paresh Rawal, John Abraham and Nana Patekar have been roped in, to join the original cast Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal and Deepika Padukone.

However, director Sajid Khan said that he has confirmed only John Abraham, Akshay and Riteish for the film as he is still in the scripting stage. He added that Deepika and Katrina are his friends but didn’t give a clear picture if he is casting them in the film.

Well, it’s surely gonna be a feast to the eyes watching Deepy and Kats together on-screen.

Vidya Balan As Mini in Kabuliwallah movie

Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan together again in Rituparno Ghosh's Next Movie Kabuliwallah.

Vidya Balan is looking forward to playing a grown up Mini in the film.

Kabuliwallah is one of the most widely known short stories by nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore; an endearing tale of friendship between a trader from Afghanistan who sells goods door to door in India, and a small Indian girl named Mini.

Vidya is also happy she will get another opportunity to act with her Paa co-star Amitabh Bachchan.

There was a report last month that Balan will feature in ABCL's next venture. It is not clear yet if the film in question is Kabuliwallah.

Anil Kapoor in ‘Mission impossible 4′

Anil Kapoor has signed to essay an important role in one of the biggest film series of Hollywood, ‘Mission Impossible’.

Anil landed in multiple Oscar winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ following which he got a major role in ’24′, one of the most watched television series in the US. He will now be seen in ‘Mission Impossible 4′ alongside Hollywood’s top actors Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg.

‘At this point I can only say that I have been contacted for ‘Mission impossible 4′ and I have said yes for the role,’ Anil said in a statement.

Waow!! Now this is some interesting piece of news.
