Katrina SRK in London for YRF's London Ishq

Shahrukh Khan is known to be very protective of his female co-stars and he displayed this attitude of his when he came to Katrina Kaif’s rescue at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport. Both the stars were in London for the shooting of Yash Chopra’s untitled film.

After the 35-day schedule, arrived at the airport in the middle of the night but their mere few minutes’ presence created a mini frenzy at the airport. Katrina upon her arrival decided to walk straight to her car whereas Shahrukh chose to speak to media about shooting and his blockbuster film RaOne’s animator Charu Khandal.

When the crowd pressed too close to Katrina Kaif, SRK quickly came forward and shielded her from the crowd, physically keeping people away from her. He kept his arms around the actress and escorted her till her car. It may be mentioned here that SRK and Salman Khan are not on very good terms and as Salman’s girlfriend, Katrina had always avoided working with SRK.

Now, they are working together under Yash Raj banner and initially, there were rumours in the media that the SRK-Kat starrer film will be named London Ishq but Shahrukh has denied any such claims.

 “We have a brand new item song called Halkat Jawani which is a fantastic track that will be picturised on Kareena Kapoor. I am sure the viewers will enjoy this song. This movie Heroine will be a different sort of movie for Kareena Kapoor,” Bhandarkar told. The director claims 40 percent of the shooting has been finished and the film will tentatively hit the cinema globally in September.

 “Forty percent of the movie has been finished. From (April) 10th, we will once again have a nonstop shooting and by September the movie will be released,” he said. Bhandarkar also rubbishes the report that the movie is centered on Manisha Koirala`s life.

“This film is not based on Manisha Koirala. It is completely incorrect. Lot of things had been written about the movie before. I have created a character called Mahi Arora who is today`s girl. The movie is all about how she witnesses the ups and downs in her life,” he sai

Aishwarya Rai Baby On The Way?

After a guessing game that has kept most of the bookies and India into high gear last week, the baby may be due Aishwarya Rai delivery today. According to sources, the Bachchan Bahu was admitted to hospital to give birth this morning.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was admitted to hospital prestigious Seven Hills, instead of the more established names such as Breach Candy hospital or DD.

Although there is no official confirmation of this family from Bachchan, the actor Amitabh Bachchan tweets Posted a few hours ago, in the back most of the buzz. Rockstar Rocks Bollywood with 11 crores on opening day !!!

Ranbir Kapoor starrer "Rockstar" has got off to a flying start with the film managing to earn Rs.11 crore plus on the opening day itself.

Directed by director Imtiaz Ali, known for making films like "Jab We Met" and "Love Aaj Kal", the story revolves around a Jat boy who aspires to become a famous rockstar like Jim Morrison.

The interesting pairing of Ranbir and Nargis Fakri topped with melodious music by A.R. Rahman has managed to draw in the crowds.

According to a press release, the film has managed to earn Rs. 11.25 crore plus on the opening day Friday, across all cinemas in India.

Even though the film has received a mixed response at the box-office, Ranbir's performance has been appreciated by everyone - audience and the critics.

Co-produced by Eros International and Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision, the film was made on a budget of more than Rs.60 crore and has been extensively shot in Delhi in locations like St. Stephen's College, Connaught Place and Nizamuddin, among others.
