The screening was put on by The Cinema Society of New York City (E. 78th & 5th Ave).

I still can't believe she let a dude like Salman Rushdie motorboat her for a few years. We'll just assume she was really desperate at that time in her career...

Anyway, these days you can catch a bite of Padma as host of "Top Chef" on the Bravo network.
