A bright color lining was in vogue a while ago and at times it looks really good, but not with pallu. If one had bright colors on inside pleats, that would make sense, but pallu, which can fall multiple ways, one should keep it free of gimmicks.
You are nuts if you think that is a saree. Thats a one shouldered dress. You can clearly see that. There is no separation between the bottom and top half like a saree and you tell that the red part is the sleeve. Saree pallu doesn't drape like that.
