Akshay-Preity: Better luck next time?

Akshay Kumar’s much-delayed Purab Ki Laila Paschim Ka Chaila has been revived. The film was supposed to begin in 2004, but was canned as its Laila, the lovely Namrata Shirodkar, got married. Now, Preity Zinta has taken over the role and the cameras are finally ready to roll. Previously, Akshay and Preity starred together in Jaaneman, but failed to leave any impact at the box office. This time around, they are determined to deliver a mind-blowing film. In the very least, it ought to be good enough to cause mass amnesia about the unfortunate flop!
